NAGEVATION LAKE GREY

Spectacular nautical experience in Torres del Paine National Park, where you will approach by catamaran to one of the glaciers of the Southern Ice Field that adorn the park. Departure is scheduled at 09:30 hrs from your accommodation in Puerto Natales, however there is the possibility of leaving 3 hours earlier to sail early in case you need to connect with another service in the afternoon.
At 12:00 noon, check-in for the navigation will take place at the Lago Grey Hotel. Afterwards, passengers are taken to the nursery area for a 30-minute walk along the lake beach to arrive at the 1:00 p.m. departure. During the navigation, a stop will be made at Refugio Grey, where hikers generally get on and off the catamaran as an entrance or exit transport to the trekking circuit. Afterwards, we will sail along the entire face of the Grey Glacier, enjoying a pisco sour with millenary ice that will be served as a courtesy on board. We then return to the same point of departure on the peninsula of Grey Lake Beach.
Passengers will walk back to the nursery parking lot where their transportation will be waiting to take them back to Puerto Natales.
It is necessary to buy at http://www.pasesparques.cl the entrance to Torres del Paine National Park and it is advisable to bring food since the return is estimated around 18:30 hrs.
TIPS
  • Wear warm and comfortable clothes to enjoy sailing on the catamaran deck, as well as firm footwear for walking along the lake beach.
  • The parking lot cafeteria at Lago Grey is open year-round and sells snacks, sandwiches, drinks and coffee at reasonable prices.
  • It is recommended to book this excursion in advance, since in low and mid season the navigation is confirmed with a minimum number of passengers, and in high season the daily quotas are scarce.
